JNU Hospital has been one of the premier multispecialty health-care destinations. In fact, when it comes to JNU, they are the No. 1 MBBS medical college in Rajasthan, India. The medical facility is spread over an area of 21 acres in Jagatpura, Jaipur. The prime objective of this hospital has always been to provide holistic healthcare solutions that include treatment, prevention, health education, and rehabilitation for patients and their families.

Requirement

JNU Hospital connected with our team as they were looking for a cost-effective solution for the backup of the current VMWare based virtual environment and a DR solution that is being used to run specific business applications. In case of a primary site failure, this backup will certainly come in handy.

As and when we got the project, we first properly examined the requirements and initiated with:

Proper understanding of the existing virtual environment and network.
Designed a new small virtual environment with VMware, VEEAM backup & replication, and Dell server to host backup and specific virtual servers.
After the finalization of the proposed solution, we began with the implementation of all the solutions.

Finally achieved

We successfully completed the project as we ended up helping our clients with:

Daily scheduled and incremental backup of VMWare based virtual environment
DR setup is installed in a small premise- Scheduled replication of business-critical virtual server to the DR server, which can be easily failover and failback with few mouse clicks.
Virtual servers can be restored entirely or file/folders. Also, backup files can be mounted as a real virtual server for testing and instant recovery purposes.
Single application managed backups and replication. Also, get a scheduled status report for monitoring the actions.
